Have I got the right profile and qualifications to work for and with GIGA?

- am a native speaker OR

- am bilingual/ one of my parents is a native speaker OR

- was educated in an English speaking country OR

- have taken and hold an IELTS exam band 8/9 OR

- have taken and hold the Cambridge CPE (A/B grade)

2. I have a degree (preferred field languages but not mandatory).

3. I hold the University of Cambridge CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent. Please note that weekend or short online courses that are not recognised by British Council cannot be accepted.

4. I have a minimum of 2 years’ full time experience post CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL.

5. I want to work for a school whose main aim is that of providing high academic standards.

6. I want to work for a school that will allow me to develop professionally.

7. I’m a team player and understand that being proactive is not doing what I want, but learning from my peers, mentors and managers.

8. I’m in teaching because I see it as a professional career and not just as a hobby that allows me to travel round the world.
